New Boss Level


Players have requested a Boss Level. So I have been working on a boss level for a couple of weeks. I did not realize just how difficult a process it was until actually creating the boss. First I sketched out the different kinds of "attacks" the boss would have based on other games I have played. I came up with 9 kinds of attacks. With that each one the boss would need to randomly pick and then execute it and then select another. A lot of coding took place and then with trial and error came up with 7 out of the 9 working as I had drawn out. The boss can be adjusted from 0 to 100% in difficulty. After 2 weeks and compiling it, the boss was pretty easy to dodge and kill.  Back to the drawing board to figure out how to make a boss no one has seen before. Ugh....
